The Ghosts and Spirits of the Harvey House Thank You. (and me too)

I (and the ghosts and spirits) would really like to thank everyone for the wonderful emails, letters and phone calls that I have been recieving the past few days about last Friday and Saturday's Ghost Walks at the Historic Harvey House in Barstow, CA. At this very moment I have people working on the availablility of using the Harvey House on a regular/perminent basis. I know the city of Barstow will come through for us on this. The possitive experiences that have been communcated to me from so many people that were on the two tours so far get me really excited. This place is not just haunted, it is crammed packed with ghost and spirits that want to communicate to us. I still can't wait to tell everyone some of the other experiences that we have recently had here. I will do that very soon in the next couple of Haunted Barstow Ghostletters. If you are not on the Ghostletter list go to www.HauntedBarstow.com and get on it.

Last Nights Ghost Investigation of the Harvey House

Last night our Haunted Barstow Paranormal Investigation Team again investigated the Harvey House and Barstow Rail Station, except this time at night. Previous investigations have been in the daylight, which is okay, but not as good as after darkness falls and our infrared cameras can kick in. Wow! I thought the ghosts and spirits at Calico Ghost Town were obvious. (Twelve years of giving Ghost Walks there proved that.) The entities at the Harvey House were basically lining-up to be noticed. When our Haunted Barstow Ghost Tours begin in the very near future, we won't have to work hard to bring people to the areas where ghosts and spirits want to be noticed. We had a couple of non-team people with us that were amazed at the "goings on" that we experienced last night. As soon as I get in the camera, video and EVP results, I will post it here and on our regular website http://www.HauntedBarstow.com . I will also try to get an audio interview with some of the team members of last night and post it here ASAP.

Winter Solstice/ Indian Bear Dance 2004

During the summer of 2004 I started looking into an old story of a Native American Indian ritual that takes place on the winter solstice, December 21st or 22nd depending on the year. According to legend, it was held somewhere near the town of Calico. I researched the accounts dating back to the 1800’s and narrowed the location down to an area just outside Calico. My wife, Jill, and I hiked to the place that fit the descriptions and walked around it a bit. There was a strong feeling of spirit activity in the area. << MORE >>

Welcome to the Haunted Barstow Blog

Welcome to the blogcast for Haunted Barstow. This is the place where we can talk about the ghosts of Barstow and the surrounding area, including Calico Ghost Town, where I had many years experience of daily experiencing the ghosts.

Above is the Harvey House in 1910 which is Barstow's most haunted.

As the Haunted Barstow tours get underway, with the assistance of my ghost investigation team, hopefully you will be informed, enlightened, impressed, and entertained with the findings revealed not just in Barstow, but abroad. Our investigators are internationally known and travel as required. I will be going into detail later on the background and experiences of the team members. Also there will be audio and video podcasts to listen to and watch regularly and respond to.

Thanks for your interest and we hope to see you soon on a Haunted Barstow Tour. For more information, go to http://www.HauntedBarstow.com .
